East London catering equipment installer Andy Catering Equipment has teamed up with Valera to fit the front-of-house counter run at Gym’s Kitchen’s second restaurant.
The outlet, which bills itself as the UK’s first protein-based restaurant, recently opened its second site in Leyton.
Leyton-based Andy Catering, whose director Steven Mavrou is also one of three directors behind Gym’s Kitchen, fitted a ‘Simply’ square glass ice cream counter and salad display as part of the counter run.
Earlier this year, Valera was also involved in the installation of a black and gold counter at Gym’s Kitchen’s maiden site in Gants Hill.
Gym’s Kitchen was launched to remedy what the company saw as a lack of clean and fast food available in the high street. Its ethos is to use only the freshest ingredients, with everything prepared on site daily in its open plan kitchens.
The menu is packed with dishes designed by top nutritionists and is notable for its absence of burgers, fries and any fried foods.
