He added: “This caps off a fantastic year for GS Group and is yet another milestone after winning the tender to supply catering and bar equipment to one of England’s historic cricket grounds during lockdown.”

After joining ENSE last year, the Devon distributor was given the accolade by the consortium and was cited for using new ENSE suppliers and committing its staff attendance to the weekly manufacturer’s training.

GS Group was also commended for using more ENSE suppliers during this time than any other new company.

A spokesperson for ENSE said: “As a new member of ENSE, GS Group has proven to be a committed member of the community by supporting the training initiative, helping ENSE suppliers obtain more business and drive substantial turnover.”

While Bob Adams of ENSE added: “We are pleased that GS Group came to ENSE and we will continue to work hard to help drive greater knowledge, benefits and profitability for [the brand].”
