Warewasher manufacturer Granuldisk is launching a new financing concept for the purchase of its products.
The Swedish firm will also be offering incentives to dealers to sign up operator customers to the scheme.
Granuldisk’s chief commercial officer Mattias Johansson explained: “We want to modernise our service to our customer base and make it easier for more people to use and benefit from Granuldisk in their kitchen operation.
“Some might lack funds or prioritise differently, or have a business model that simply makes traditional owning an uncomfortable or downright impossible option. With this lease-based all-inclusive concept, we allow the customer to enter a more care-free use, where everything from installation to consumables is included.”
On the benefits to distributors, he revealed: “We are offering this in cooperation with our partners/dealers meaning if the partner finds this opportunity, they will get a finder’s fee and Granuldisk will sign the contract with the end customer.
“For service during the contract, we are using the same partner to perform the service, so there is good business for the partner, and at the same time Granuldisk is managing the risk.”
The concept is has already launched for customers in the Nordic countries but will be available in more regions during the autumn. Granuldisk has already received positive feedback from the market during the trial period and expects to have 20 contracts up and running before the end of the year.
