Grant converts saucepans into sous vide baths


Grant Instruments has created a stirring heater that can transform a standard cooking vessel into a sophisticated sous vide cooking bath.

The SV200 can be clamped onto any vertical sided cooking vessel to create a convenient and cost effective sous vide solution that increases a commercial kitchen’s flexibility without eating up valuable worktop space.

The SV200 provides the exceptional temperature stability and uniformity that’s required for chefs to produce gourmet quality dishes every time,” said Roy Homent, catering product manager at Grant Instruments.

The SV200 offers precise water temperature stability (±0.05°C), and temperature control from 5 to 100°C via a simple to use rotor dial.

It also features an easy to read LED display, providing a clear view of the set temperature across the kitchen, and a visual alarm and countdown timer.
