Grande Cuisine has announced it will be increasing its list prices by an average of 8% from 1 January 2017.
MD Steve Hobbs reported: “In the wake of sterling’s fall against other major currencies following the Brexit vote we, like many other importers, had to make a judgement on whether to pass on the effect of this to our customers.
“In the end we chose not to, preferring instead to absorb the cost for as long as possible, which we have done. However, with no immediate sign of a change with regard to the strength of sterling we have now taken the decision to incorporate a small currency related increase as part of our annual price review.
“We will, of course, honour all existing quotations until the end of January 2017 and are in the process of advising our dealer network of new prices for products supplied in 2017.”
Grande Cuisine is the exclusive supplier of Athanor, Adventys and Capic cooking equipment in the UK.
