Gram turns Willy Wonka for operator competition

Gram has kicked off a ‘Willy Wonka-inspired’ competition for operators by presenting Cafe Twit at the Roald Dahl Museum and Story Centre in Buckinghamshire with its very own ‘Golden Ticket’.

Operators can win a free product from the refrigeration manufacturer if they turn out to be the lucky recipient of one of five golden tickets randomly hidden in purchased units.

Taking the idea from Roald Dahl’s literary classic, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, Gram saw it as the perfect opportunity to present the museum with a ticket of its own.

Glenn Roberts, managing director of Gram UK, said: “In celebration of our 50th year of supplying to the foodservice industry, we want to give something back to caterers and operators given the integral part they play in our development. The Museum, which is also a charity, is a well-deserving recipient of its very own golden ticket which entitles them to a free Gram product.”

There will be five tickets to be found between now and November 2013.

Operators will be in with a chance to win if they purchase one of five golden products: Compact 610, Midi 625, Plus 600, Compact 410 and Gastro Counter 1807.
