A good response to the launch of single door upright refrigeration and freezers marketed under the Snowflake brand has prompted Gram to expand the range.

Snowflake was developed to target parts of the market that might otherwise be out of reach for Gram due to price and initially started with a single line of upright refrigeration.

UK managing director, Glenn Roberts, confirmed the range had now been enhanced in the UK.

“In response to growing customer demand we are now delighted to announce the addition of double door upright units, a range of counters and two sizes of blast chiller/freezers,” he said. “Clearly these additions will strengthen the already popular Snowflake brand and ensure that our customers can obtain the very best value-for-money refrigeration available to the market.”

The Snowflake units are designed by Gram’s Danish product development team and offer caterers a refrigeration solution that is “competitively priced and robust”, according to Roberts.

The original single door upright refrigeration and freezer units were recently added to the Carbon Trust’s Energy Technology List.
