GEV inks deals with refrigeration and microwave brands

Bryn Vivian is leaving GEV today.

GEV Catering Spares has been appointed as the official parts distributor for three leading brands, including Frenox.

Frenox is the leading Turkish manufacturer of industrial refrigerators and deep freezers. Its range includes refrigeration units for hotels, restaurants and retail outlets.

GEV is now handling the complete warranty process in the UK with comprehensive information on Frenox parts available through the GEV Webshop and App, including exploded drawings, parts lists, detailed part information, stock availability and pricing.

The latest agreement comes after GEV revealed that it recently took on European-wide distributorship for ACP’s brands Amana and Menumaster.

The brands are two of the most recognised and respected in the foodservice industry, manufacturing high-speed combination ovens and microwaves for commercial use.

Bryn Vivian, GEV’s UK managing director, says: “This is great news for us and we are very happy to be a trusted supplier for these parts.

“It clearly affirms our status as a one-stop shop for catering spares of all types, moreover a trusted name among customers and manufacturers. I’m pleased to say these ranges are very well stocked and the pricing, as always, is competitively set.”

GEV is now in its fifth year of trading in the UK and has recently made a number of significant improvements to its service, including Fast Search in the Webshop; the launch of its App providing parts information for engineers on the move; and a new extended order cut-off time of 6pm for next day delivery.
