GEV Catering Spares bolsters UK sales team


Catering equipment spare parts provider GEV has strengthened its UK sales team with the appointment of two customer service specialists.

Judith Sims joins the company after gaining two decades of experience in the finance industry where she was responsible for telesales, office management and compliance. In recent years she has worked for independent financial advisers and franchise companies.

Customer service specialist, Kelly Barrell, meanwhile, brings 17 years of sales and customer service experience to her post at GEV. Her role will involve providing GEV’s customers with the highest level of service, ensuring fast, friendly and accurate processing of all customer transactions.

“Both Kelly and Jude bring a wealth of experience to the business and their appointments mark a milestone in our growth and strategic goals,” said GEV’s director, Bryn Vivian. “I am delighted to welcome them both to GEV. In addition to their expertise in telemarketing and customer service, they also bring a unique combination of client focus and innovative thinking.”

Since commencing operations three years ago, the GEV support team, based in Grantham, Lincolnshire, has processed more than 25,000 orders.

Earlier this year, GEV expanded its distribution storage facility and introduced a fully-automated system that it says allows it to deliver 95% of parts to most UK destinations the next day if they are ordered before 3pm.
