Gastros Switzerland awarded for first battery-powered induction module

Gastros’ InductWarm Battery Module won the ‘kitchen systems’ category in Intergastra’s awards.

Induction buffet solution specialist Gastros Switzerland won an award at the latest international Intergastra trade show.

The Swiss brand triumphed in the ‘kitchen systems’ category for its InductWarm Battery Module, a battery-powered induction module that can be integrated in mobile buffet solutions.

Said to be the first battery-powered induction module of its kind, the technology is designed to keep food warm gently and constantly up to 4 hours – with only one battery charge.

The InductWarm Battery Module is designed to fit in OEM mobile catering solutions. This new product can be a solution for hot holding using induction when power supply is limited.

The unit requires no visible power cables, no water vapour, no open flames and no smell of burning paste, so it can be used front of house.
