In line with the many changes that have taken place at Garners Food Service Equipment over recent years, the kitchen design house has now added to its team of design staff to support and grow the company’s workload.
Anzelika Lisauskiene has joined the company as a contracts designer and estimator and has already started work on Garners’ ongoing projects, including schools and community centres.
She commented: “I’ve always been interested in designing kitchens; I’ve worked on 3D projects in the past and enjoyed problem solving for functionality and aesthetics.
“So far I’ve been able to see a couple of Garners’ sites (some at the start of the build and some nearing the end) and look forward to seeing the before and after pictures we documented – hopefully with my designs in place. I’ve enjoyed getting to grips with Revit, BIM libraries and Caterquotes but most of all I look forward to putting my designs together and presenting some nice renders.”
Jonathan Meats, who manages the contracts department, described the company’s drive to continue expanding: “In order to obtain the very best results for our clients we have to obtain a detailed understanding of their needs both operationally and financially.
“Our talented designers are then able to draw upon a strong technical knowledgebase to create a solution which delivers for all stakeholders of a facility. This ethos provides the backbone for our business and allows our continued expansion through new and repeat clients.
“The only way to achieve this growth is through the hard work and commitment of the entire team here at Garners. It’s with great pleasure that we welcome Anzelika on board as we expand, working on new and exciting projects.”
MD Tim Fisher has been at Garners for over 27 years and has always tried to stay ahead of the curve: “Over my 40 years in the catering industry I’ve witnessed the market’s rising needs for a comprehensive design and installation package – in turn, I’ve seen these changes influence the importance of a strong set of designer/estimators and project managers in our own business system. It’s for this reason that we continue to invest in our staff, their training and the software they use.
“We’re very happy with Anzelika and are excited to see what she will bring to the business as we move forward.”
