A UK dealer has won a new contract in excess of £160,000 to outfit a branch of Benugo Cafe at Windsor Great Park.

The kitchen at the Savill Building will undergo a major refurbishment and extension of existing facilities.

The outfit will involve Fulcrum’s largest ever single order for Foster/Gamko refrigeration – a total of 17 cabinets and counters.

It will feature a Blue Seal cooksuite, Meiko wash-up area including DV200.2GiO double-basket hood dishwasher, FV40.2GiO Glasswasher, 2no. 10-grid Rational combi ovens and all tabling.

Osborne and Weald pass-through display refrigeration will be installed along with a Coldplan cold room with 50mtr remote condensing unit and sloping ceiling.

Fulcrum will be working in partnership with main contractor Interiorbuild UK Ltd.

Director David Burnett said of the deal: “The specification process was a tricky affair with multiple changes to the cooksuite layout to achieve canopy-sizes and air-volumes that satisfied the clients mechanical consultants. The client is re-using existing fans to save on capital costs.

“As with all of the larger Benugo projects the number of individual site contractors requires a special kind of pro-active project management to ensure that Fulcrum’s guidance is being followed. Working with familiar faces helps but ensuring our information is being used (rather that a third party) is not always straightforward and can sometimes entail delicate negotiation.”
