Marlborough-based distributor, Fulcrum Commercial Kitchens, has relaunched its website this week for the first time since 2010.
The fresh design updates the colour themes and adds new sections, splitting the existing services and equipment pages into more sub-sections. Furthermore, the case studies focus has been, and will continue to be, extended.
Director, David Burnett, detailed: “The new website brings us right up to date with Fulcrum’s current operation and future aspirations.
“The old site from 2010 was looking very dated and lacked interest – so we decided to start from scratch. We needed to bring our whole web presence up to date with our rebranding from a couple of years ago.”
Taking inspiration from a number of other industry websites, Fulcrum ensured that the design is simple, clean and easy to navigate.
There is now a latest news section which reflects the distributor’s social media posts. According to Burnett: “We have continued to invest in our social media presence, believing this to be a big part of our future.
“Primarily to promote Fulcrum within the hospitality sector, a significant part of this has been also directed towards supporting our supplier partners wherever possible. There isn’t much we can do about a pandemic putting brakes on our purchasing but we can offer reciprocal support and do this through our ‘equipment in the spotlight’ posts.
“We’ve all been in the same boat, Covid has affected every level of the supply chain. Hopefully 2021 will return us all to healthy, sustainable trading and we’ll be looking back on 2020 as a useful lesson in business survival.”
