Fryer maker tweaks warranty terms

FriFri has followed the lead of sister company Lincat by announcing that its high-spec fryers and chip scuttles now come with a two-year warranty.

The offer includes both onsite parts and labour, according to the company.

The design and manufacture of FriFri equipment is managed by Lincat, which recently confirmed the introduction of two-year warranties on all its own products.

John Shepherd, FriFri’s international brand manager, said: “Since August last year, we have been working hard to apply Lincat organisational and manufacturing expertise to the entire FriFri operation. So confident are we now in the quality of our product design and manufacture that we are able to double the length of our comprehensive warranty terms.”

Shepherd said it was particularly significant to note that its engineers will go onsite if the equipment fails during the period of warranty, eliminating the need for customers to have to return the product for service.

The FriFri range of high specification fryers comprises freestanding, built-in and counter-top models.
