Switzerland-based Franke Coffee Systems has introduced the A800 coffee machine in response to the growing demand for a variety of hot beverages.

With its three-part boiler system and what is said to be a superior operating concept, the A800 is designed to handle large order volumes quickly.

It can make coffee, foam milk, and prepare hot tea simultaneously. Multiple orders can be entered in a single step via a touchscreen and the A800 works through the list independently.

The touchscreen shows product images and can be individually configured to add messages and pictures.

Self-service operation lets the user choose their desired product themselves with touch and swipe actions. An LED lighting concept supports operator staff with functional alerts.

The FoamMaster milk foamer is integrated in the A800 as standard, claimed to guarantee barista-quality milk foam, even at high capacity.

The foam can be prepared individually for every order, and an efficient, intelligent foaming process is said to reduce the amount of milk needed.

The A800 can be fitted with up to three coffee grinders, a double powder dosing system for chocolate, or a flavour station and a cup warmer.

The unit can also be connected via Franke’s telemetry solution so that operators have a constant, real-time overview of sales data, coffee bean and milk consumption, and any operating messages.
