ITW group brands Foster Refrigerator and sister firm Gamko have been nominated for two refrigeration industry accolades.
The King’s Lynn refrigeration manufacturer has been nominated for the RAC Cooling Excellence in Food Service Award for its work to provide an environmentally friendly kitchen at the Kingham Plough restaurant in Oxfordshire. The installation featured the company’s new Ultra cold room.
Furthermore, sister brand Gamko, which makes drinks coolers for bars and restaurants, has been shortlisted for its new ECO-Line E3 Drinks Cooler, in RAC’s Refrigeration Product of the Year category.
Results will be announced at a ceremony in London in September. Foster’s head of marketing Nick Bamber said: “We are thrilled to have reached the shortlist – and in two categories! These awards are very important to our industry and demonstrate the calibre of new products Foster and Gamko are making in terms of innovation and energy savings – fingers crossed we win!”
