Garners Food Service Equipment has strengthened its team with the appointment of Neil Garlick as sales manager.
Garlick joins the Nottingham-based distributor after long spells in the industry with 3663 and Lockhart, as well as a period with Trak Hupfer.
His new role will involve selling catering design projects to a wide variety of customers, including schools, care homes, stadia and major building contractors.
“I will be working closely with our designers to interpret and deliver the needs of our customers, and ensure that the project is delivered on time and exceeds the expectations of our customers,” he told Catering Insight.
Garlick will be looking to call on all the skills he has developed since working in the industry as he bids to contribute to Garners’ sales growth.
“I have over 20 years experience working within the catering equipment industry, both on a regional and national level,” he said. “I have sold everything from a plastic teaspoon to a fully fitted kitchen! The last few years I have been working within the public sector and understand the needs and issues in these sectors.”
Garners was founded back in 1983 and specialises in commercial kitchen design, project management, extraction canopy installation and the provision of turnkey packages, including wall cladding, contract furniture, service and maintenance and site-specific preventative maintenance contracts.
