Flowrite’s CoolerResponse refrigeration monitoring system.

Refrigeration and air conditioning specialist servicing firm Flowrite has introduced the CoolerResponse refrigerator monitoring system.

The monitoring hub is open protocol and therefore capable of connecting with any operating system. It provides live data analysis and sends alarm alerts when normal agreed operating parameters are exceeded.

These alerts can be a warning of a larger issue or a total failure, and therefore enable the business owner or service provider to react in a proactive manner before loss of stock or trade.

The technology monitors the systems temperatures and other related factors such as door openings, system pressures and energy consumption of the systems. These readings are visible through a live web portal, which is compatible with all smartphones, tablets and PCs, and presented in a real-time traffic light format, which should make them simple to read.

The system also measures real time energy consumption, which should enable the system to be optimised to reduce ongoing energy costs.

One customer that trialled the system found it showed that staff weren’t closing their walk-in refrigerator door after use, which prompted them to re-train their employees, resulting in reducing energy consumption.
