Flexeserve has selected First Choice Group as its chosen partner for the fulfilment of OEM parts supply for its hot holding equipment to customers in the UK and selected overseas markets.
The Alan Nuttall Partnership brand is the latest to sign a master distribution agreement (MDA) with the Cannock-based spares specialist.
This is the latest move in a strategic vision to make Flexeserve’s operations more efficient and effective.
Customer experience director, Warwick Wakefield said: “As we continue to build our brand and develop our aftersales support in the global marketplace, it’s important for our customer support team to focus on proactive analysis and a more strategic approach to supporting our development team on technical performance. Our manufacturing and despatch teams will also be able to dedicate their time and resources to our ever-increasing Flexeserve sales around the world.
“Our customer support team already does an incredible job, fielding the technical requirements of our customers. With First Choice on board, our team can continue to address customer needs, but with greater emphasis on technical support, providing enhanced diagnosis and resolution of customer queries. It’s a really exciting development.”
Flexeserve’s patented range of heated units are invented, developed and assembled in the UK. The company’s flagship Flexeserve Zone heated display was introduced to the market in 2013 and has been selected by major food retailers. In 2020 Flexeserve Hub was launched to enable an even wider range of foodservice operators to capitalise on the recent shift to takeaway, home delivery and click and collect.
First Choice Group’s head of manufacturer partnerships, Steven McLaren, commented: “It’s a proud moment for all involved at First Choice Group, to be officially partnering with such an innovative company as Flexeserve. We can now offer their customers the efficiency and availability of OEM parts stock on some of the most pioneering foodservice equipment solutions.
“Similarly, Flexeserve will see a significant investment in UK stockholding, together with award-winning customer service. They will also be able to take full advantage of our infrastructure, built solely around the supply of genuine OEM parts.”
The agreement makes possible new methods of delivering Flexeserve parts – offering flexibility for the brand’s customers. In addition to next-day delivery as standard, First Choice offers UK customers a range of timed services as well as specialised solutions – such as ByBox, PUDO (PickUp DropOff), in-boot service – the ability to deliver straight into the back of an engineer’s van – and click and collect from its dedicated trade counter.
First Choice should ensure a complete stock of Flexeserve OEM parts and provide easy access to up-to-date operational guides, equipment diagrams and user manuals, streamlined logistical solutions and dedicated customer support.
The MDA is also aimed at supporting Flexeserve’s international distributor partners with more cost-effective same-day shipping services.
Flexeserve’s Wakefield continued: “First Choice has an impressive set of clients in its portfolio, representing all major foodservice brands. It was only right that we join that list, given their extensive resources and best practice approach to parts distribution.
“Their multiple e-commerce solutions will also make it quick and easy for our customers to order Flexeserve parts. And if they need help with the identification of these, they’ll have access to comprehensive support, as well as approved equipment manuals, technical advice and training from qualified service professionals.”
CEO of Flexeserve, Jamie Joyce, added: “Our equipment is incredibly robust, because of the high-quality accredited components we use, our expertise in assembly and rigorous approach to testing. However, when a replacement part is required, it tends to be needed quickly. That’s because our units have become such a vital part of our customers’ operations that they want to avoid any downtime.
“With First Choice assisting us with parts distribution, we can be sure that our customers, distributors, and service and maintenance partners will continue to receive genuine Flexeserve parts and in the most appropriate timescale and delivery method for them.
“Their global reach aligns closely with our own international business strategy and we look forward to taking full advantage of the opportunities that this partnership now provides.”
