First Choice's Martin Dagnall will be leading the 'Art of Parts' courses.

First Choice Group is now offering parts identification courses known as ‘The Arts of Parts’.

Developed to offer technical help for servicing firms and end users, the courses cover a range of equipment parts including warewashing, catering, and refrigeration and offer support in areas such as part terminologies, prices, van stock parts kits, and parts type categories.

As well as this, the courses can also help with technician and engineer job sheets and recommended OEM parts lists for some of the most well-known and respected manufacturers.

Courses can be carried out at First Choice Group’s training facility based at its headquarters in Cannock, in which attendees can see the equipment and parts in action, or the spares team can attend the customer’s location to carry out the course free of charge.

The courses will be running at the spares specialist’s UK centrally located headquarters just north of Birmingham or the team can attend customer venues if this is something which is preferred.

Martin Dagnall, head of the First Choice training division, said: “Our new parts identification courses provide information on different equipment parts and have been developed so that the correct parts can be easily identified if they need replacing. This can also reduce the number of returning engineer visits if customers have the right knowledge of parts.

“What is unique about this course is that customers can either visit our training facilities and receive training on our wide range of equipment we have on site or we can visit them. Hopefully, we will be able to provide customers with the right knowledge and information they require with these courses which cover various equipment types.”
