First Choice streamlines app with latest update

First Choice has updated its transactional app for a quicker experience.

Specialist spare parts provider First Choice Group has updated its app to be faster and provide a more comprehensive user experience.

Available on iOS and Android platforms, and optimised for both phone and tablet use, the latest version of the fully transactional app features more resources from more manufacturers than before.

The app is designed to offer a seamless user-experience, including high-resolution 360° spin photos, allowing the user to identify parts from any angle, as well as thousands of manuals and diagrams. Orders placed directly through the app before 7pm will be dispatched same day and delivered next day as standard.

Arranged in a logical way, the app allows users to browse by manufacturer, category, equipment type, model, part number or through sector-specific brochures to find the relevant part or accessory. Alternatively, the ‘Parts ID’ feature allows engineers, technicians and operators to take a picture of their required part, sending it through the chat function built into the app, to one of First Choice’s parts specialists for quick and simple identification.

Designed to operate on multiple devices and optimised for both phone and tablet use, the app provides all the great identification and transactional benefits to be found on the First Choice website, offering them on the move.”

Customers who are logged into their account on one device or through the website, can add items to their basket, save, and pick up later from the app. Syncing their account, the app also shows a customer’s order history and allows users to create favourites for quick repeat ordering of the most common spare parts and accessories.

The app is free to download and available now through Apple’s App Store and Google Play Store on Android devices.
