First Choice Group’s purpose-built headquarters in Cannock, Staffordshire has successfully received a recommendation for ISO 9001:205 recertification.
ISO 9001:2015 is the most recent version of the global certification standard. Internationally recognised, the quality management system (QMS) standard is designed to demonstrate a company’s ability to consistently provide products and services that meet ongoing customer and regulatory requirements.
Based on a process-orientated approach to documenting and reviewing the structure, responsibilities and procedures required to achieve effective quality management within an organisation, First Choice Group has undergone independent verification to ensure it meets the required standards.
Denise Whitehouse, head of quality and health and safety at First Choice Group, said: “I am really pleased that we have been successful in our 3-year ISO 9001:2015 re-certification audit. It is with much thanks to our team, for their passion and commitment, which has resulted in the renewal of our certification.
“It has been a challenging year, one where Brexit has changed many processes and the Covid-19 pandemic has required the implementation of several new ways of working. During all this our team has adapted well and customer service has remained our key focus throughout.”
She added: “Our certification body, BSI, had to conduct our two-day audit remotely due to ongoing restrictions. First Choice was commended on our processes and measures that we have put in place, with our external auditor offering a positive feedback throughout the process.
“This achievement demonstrates our commitment to our customers, our manufacturer partners, and the wider business stakeholders. As a business, we strive to continually improve and develop our offering and that is something that our ISO 9001 certification demonstrates.”
