First Choice Group has expanded on its partnership with Welbilt to bring coffee machine manufacturer, Crem International, into the fold.
Welbilt’s MDA (master distribution agreement) with First Choice Group came into effect at the beginning of January, giving the catering spares supplier significant investment in UK stockholdings for brands such as Convotherm, Merrychef, Frymaster and more.
This updated partnership will now include the spares supply of Welbilt’s newly-integrated coffee equipment brand, Crem International.
Steven McLaren, commercial manager at First Choice Group said: “Crem International is always looking at ways to improve its customer service provision.
“As part of the continuous improvement process, and having reviewed its spare parts distribution strategy in the UK and Ireland, we are proud to announce Welbilt has decided to add its Crem brands – Expobar, Coffee Queen and Spengler – to the MDA with First Choice Group.”
He added: “This new arrangement will serve to strengthen the partnership by providing Welbilt with easy access to the largest inventory of genuine Crem International spare parts serving the UK and Ireland.”
The updated agreement came into effect on 1 April, making First Choice Group the primary point of contact for all spare parts enquiries and orders for the Crem International brands, along with the other Welbilt brands. This will include full telephone and email contact support with over 65 trained customer advisors.
Customers will also be able to access online equipment diagrams and manuals, 360-degree photos, and an ordering process via the website and mobile app.
Colin F. Lacey, vice-president of service EMEA region at Welbilt’s service arm, KitchenCare, said: “We hope that this new master distribution partnership with First Choice Group will provide customers unrivalled access to the UK and Ireland’s largest stock of genuine Crem International spare parts to support all customers.”
