Welbilt joins a list of equipment manufacturers who already hold partnerships and Master Distribution Agreements with First Choice Group, including Convotherm, Merrychef and Manitowoc Ice.

Commenting on the partnership Steve McLaren, the recently appointed commercial manager at First Choice Group, said: “This is a significant step for First Choice Group, allowing us to further realise our OEM partnership strategy.”

He added: “The signing of this Master Distribution Agreement with Welbilt confirms to us that by; only supplying original OEM spare parts, continually investing in stock, relentlessly pursuing innovation in our field and demonstrating passion and integrity in what we do every day, that as a company we are doing the right things and that has been recognised by Welbilt in them placing their trust in us to supply the customers in the UK with their OEM spare part portfolio.”

First Choice Group confirmed its team will be working closely with Welbilt from the start of 2019 to ensure all spares and operation information is up-to-date and a premium spares supply service, which will include trained and experienced customer service advisors, equipment diagrams, parts and user manuals and photos, can be provided.
