First Choice completes multi-million pound move

First Choice has relocated.

First Choice Group’s much heralded move to a new multi-million-pound home at Cannock’s exclusive Kingswood Lakeside ‘business gateway’ is finally complete. The sales department was the last to relocate there over the May Day Bank Holiday weekend.

Launched in 1999 the company has, inside two decades, established itself as the UK’s number one supplier of catering spare parts, a fact not lost on PT Holdings LLC – the parent company of Parts Town, the world’s largest distributor of OEM parts for the foodservice industry – who acquired the Cannock based distributor on 1 March.

According to MD John Whitehouse, the move was necessary as First Choice had outgrown its own revenue streams. With a workforce of around 150 staff – and getting bigger by the week – relocating to Staffordshire’s most revered business site will not only sustain capacity growth in spare parts supply but also reinforce First Choice’s absolute commitment to providing outstanding customer service and support.

John said: “The move to Lakeside gives us the chance to raise our levels of professionalism higher than it’s ever been. The business is, intellectually, on the cusp of going from being mid-size to a highly professional corporate entity.

“Moving to our new state-of-the-art, three-storey, 100,000 square-foot facility will help First Choice Group to identify, attract and exploit new avenues of business. It will also rubber-stamp company ambitions to extend its manufacturer training provision through its specialist training division Combico UK.”

So now it’s all official, First Choice Group has a new address: Blakeney Way, Kingswood Lakeside, Cannock WS11 8LD.
