FEM today confirmed it now has the full range of Manitowoc Sotto icemakers in stock following the launch of the latest UG40 under-counter model.
FEM is the exclusive distributor of Manitowoc ice machines in the UK and the latest addition to the range means distributors can gain immediate access to the newest kit.
Like all Manitowoc Sotto icemakers, the UG40 is available for distributors to order from stock for next-day delivery.
Making up to 45kg of ice per day, and with an integral ice bin storage capacity of 25kg, the UG40’s compact footprint and quiet operation make it ideal for pubs, bars and restaurants with limited space that need a reliable supply of gourmet quality cubes.
As the UG40 is front venting, the machine needs no top or side clearance. This means it can be slid into the tightest spaces, bringing a supply of quality ice right behind the bar where it is needed.
Standard features include stainless steel exterior and a high-yield air-cooled ice refrigeration system that produces 43% more ice than previous models.
Shad Williams, heavy equipment specialist at Alliance National, one of FEM’s distributors said, he was impressed by the new model.
“43% more ice for the same price is a great deal for customers, ensuring maximum ice production in even the tightest space,” he said.
The UG40 has a list price of £1,270 and is backed by a two-year parts and one-year labour guarantee.
