FEM serves up slim dispensers

FEM (Foodservice Equipment Marketing) now supplies Server SlimLine dry ingredient dispensers, which can add dry toppings to desserts, such as ice cream, knickerbocker glories and sundaes.

The new dispensers allow for up to four different toppings, such as chocolate chunks, sweets and sprinkles, to be housed in less than 33cm of wall space.

The Server SlimLine can be wall-mounted individually or in a bank of up to four dispensers. The supplier believes a choice of toppings adds extra value and appeal, and that displaying them in clear ingredient dispensers creates an eye-catching focal point.

The dispensers deliver controlled portions, enabling replication of signature desserts and limiting waste. They can also be used for self-service applications. The pull-down lever action is designed to make the dispensers easy to use.

Each dispenser has a 2 litre capacity, holding between 45 and 135 servings depending on the portion tray used. The dispensers are supplied with four sets of portion trays. These can be adjusted to dispense portions from 14ml up to 42ml. They can also be used for dispensing a wider range of products, including powders, and are said to be easy to remove and refill.

The dispensers are available from FEM for a list price starting at £150 for the single dispenser. All dispensers are supplied with a full 1 year warranty.
