FEM is bringing the Hamilton Beach Commercial Quantum 950 blender to the UK.
To be supplied by FEM’s distributors, the unit has a 3 year parts and labour warranty, alongside a 7 year parts and labour guarantee for the Endura motor. The rest of the blender, the drive coupling and stainless steel blades have a lifetime guarantee.
Central to the Quantum 950’s longevity is its Endura motor technology, which uses a brushless motor system. By eliminating brushes and hence the need to replace worn down brushes, this technology means that the Quantum is claimed to last two and a half times longer and operate 50% more efficiently than its peers.
The Quantum 950 is controlled by a touchpad on a scrolling LED display, which has access to over 30 pre-programmed blending cycles in 10 languages. There are five programmable buttons so that the most popular blends can be prioritised. Meanwhile, a USB port makes it possible to upload custom programs.
Furthermore the wave-action system uses a specially designed container to continually force mixture down to the blades for a consistent end product. With a pulse option that can be set anywhere between 5% and 100% power, the Quantum is designed to be able to cope with whole ice cubes to blend frozen drinks, smoothies, ice cream and iced coffee.
Hamilton Beach Commercial’s Quiet Shield sound enclosure reduces volume, so that the unit is suitable for front of house. The Quiet Shield is designed to be easy to detach and clean, while as soon as the shield is lifted the motor stops.
The Quantum 950 measures 216 (W) x 286 (D) x 445mm (H). Its list price is £1,790 plus VAT.
