Foodservice Equipment Marketing (FEM) has recently brought an executive chef on board to help develop the company’s business in the UK market.
Dushan Lukovic, a chef and writer, is offering advice and training on all FEM’s cooking equipment. He will work with customers on product testing, menu development, training, advice and consultancy.
Based near Lincoln, Lukovic’s role will involve travelling throughout the UK visiting FEM’s customers, as well as running hands-on cooking demonstrations at the specialist FEM kitchens in Glasgow.
“I’m not a salesman, I’m first and foremost a chef,” he said. “I love working with the customers and seeing what pleasure they get when they realise what more they can achieve with their cooking equipment.”
Lukovic has 24 years’ experience in the cooking trade to call upon and says he will work with chefs to demonstrate how to get the best yields whilst creating simple, tasty and well-presented food.
Growing up in South Africa, Dushan learned and perfected his skills as an executive chef and head chef in Rossete and Michelin star restaurants, as well as high volume production and service kitchens.
FEM distributes a number of major brands in the UK including Alto-Shaam, Manitowoc Ice, Cambro, Sirman and Vollrath.
