FCSI associates chew the fat in Cardiff

Members and associates of the FCSI were in Cardiff this morning for the second day of the society’s UK meeting.

The two-day event began yesterday evening with a drinks and canapés reception at Cardiff Castle followed by dinner.

This morning’s schedule included a visit to the Welsh Assembly Government Building, with delegates then heading for lunch at The Clink, which is run by inmates at HMP Cardiff.

Those attending the meeting will hear from Chris Moore, CEO of The Clink, and FCSI member Duncan Hepburn, who designed the kitchen at the venue.

FCSI UK & Ireland members donated more than £100,000 worth of equipment last year to make the project happen.

A guest speaker from recycling body WRAP was also scheduled to speak at the FCSI meeting this afternoon.
