Falcon Foodservice Equipment has presented Children’s Hospice Association Scotland (CHAS), a charity that supports children with life-shortening conditions and their families, with a cheque for £4,700.
As the manufacturer has been supporting the good cause since 1996, this takes the total amount Falcon has raised for the charity to over £40,000.
The money was raised by donations from Falcon staff, who give a certain amount from their salaries every month.
“I’m very proud of the way Falcon staff have put their hands in their pockets over the years to support CHAS,” said Tim Tindle, MD at Falcon.
“It provides a vital service for many families, helping them through very difficult times.”
CHAS community fundraiser, Sarah Dannfald, added: “Falcon has been a staunch supporter for many years.
“We’re very grateful for the contributions; they make a huge difference to the lives of Scottish children and families.”
