Falcon salesmen flaunt their facial fuzz

Customers of Falcon Foodservice Equipment can be excused for doing a double-take this month if their local salesman visits their premises.

That’s because male staff from the company’s sales and marketing team are sporting ‘taches in aid of ‘Movember’, the charity formed to raise awareness of men’s health issues, particularly prostate cancer.

13 ‘Falcon Follies’ have been cultivating facial fuzz, led by team captain Lawrence Hughes.

He said: “The idea was mentioned at our sales meeting last week and was embraced by everyone. The banter within the team has already been great and I see this as a really good way to generate an even better feeling of team spirit within our sales and marketing team, and the organisation as a whole.”

Hughes added that the main objective, of course, was to raise as much money as possible for an important cause. “We have already raised over £1,000 and would welcome any support for this extremely worthwhile cause,” he said.
