Falcon Foodservice Equipment has added two new members to its sales team: Melanie D’Aubney and Adam Wilkinson.
They both started at the manufacturer this week and visited its factory for the induction process, meeting the support teams and spending time in the kitchen with development chef Shaune Hall getting to know some of the brand’s products.
D’Aubney is returning to Falcon as an area sales manager for London and the South East, having previously performed the same role for 4 years between 2006 and 2010. She has over 20 years’ experience in sales and customer service roles, including a decade with Berkeley Projects UK.
Falcon feels that D’Aubney is a knowledgeable, experienced and personable sales professional who will quickly build, and in some cases, re-establish, excellent relationships with its dealers and customers in the area.
While Wilkinson has spent the last 20 years in various sales roles and has experience across many different sectors, including stints at Lockhart, Hobart, Socamel and Ascot Wholesale. He has joined Falcon in the new position of business development manager for the healthcare sector, where he is tasked with growing the manufacturer’s business and establishing its recently-launched Vario-Therm product range in this market.
National sales manager Paul Bayer commented: “I am pleased to welcome Mel and Adam to Falcon and look forward to working closely with them. They are both excellent sales professionals and just the right fit, not just for the roles they’re going into, but for our sales team and the wider Falcon team too. They bring with them experience, knowledge, personality and fresh ideas and they both can’t wait to get started in their new roles.
“It’s great that we’ve been able to bring Mel back to Falcon to take up the role she carried out so well previously and I’m sure she’ll hit the ground running. Adam’s background in equipment sales and the NHS really stood out for us and his appointment, following hard on the heels of the Vario-Therm launch, shows our commitment to the healthcare sector. These are two key appointments as we continue to build on what’s been a good year for us despite all of the challenges we’ve all faced.”
