Falcon Foodservice Equipment has announced that it is now offering fully BIM compliant models available free of charge to the industry.
The company said it was proud to be among the very first manufacturers to have created BIM models for all its products.
Barry Hill, marketing manager at Falcon, said the firm has been working closely with CESABIM to help produce the models that allow BIM compliance.
“By offering BIM models free of charge and without restriction, we believe that compliance with government guidelines will be much more achievable for our distributors and those specifying Falcon products,” he said.
“And, given our unrivalled credentials within the public sector it is vital for our customers that we supply the information they require to continue to specify and supply Falcon products into the public sector,” added Hill.
All of Falcon’s models will be made available on the CESABIM library as well as directly from the company itself.
Falcon’s managing director, Tim Tindle, recently said the company was getting requests for BIM models “ every week” as more distributors and kitchen planners prepare for BIM ahead of new requirements in 2016.
