Cooking equipment supplier Exclusive Ranges has brought the latest Beer Grill food holding and food presentation drop in and counter top units to the UK.
Part of the Culinario range, Master Touch features the ability to set the most suitable climate and temperature for each gastronorm pan (GN). Thermal zones can quickly be switched from hot to cold, allowing heated and refrigerated items to be placed next to each other, which should maximise the units across every service.
Users can set the temperature and climate, including dry, humid, crushed ice and neutral, all designed specifically to maximise the quality of food being served. The display can also be converted from self-service to attended in two manoeuvres, enabling caterers to serve a wider variety of meals from the same unit.
The Culinario range is built specially to combat any air cross contamination of allergens. As well as minimising the risk of cross contamination through direct contact, the serving drop-ins feature air curtains between each food tray to prevent the air borne contamination of allergens.
The USB drive also enables operators to download a HAACP report from the unit to monitor and minimise risk. Additionally, if water levels are too low, the device alerts staff and deactivates the lower heating.
The equipment is designed to be easy to clean, with dishwasher-friendly components. While the self-explanatory navigation allows the transfer of programmes to several menus, the software should make it quick and easy for staff to programme without prior specific training.
The equipment can be dropped in to shop fitted units – enabling operators to economically build a service area using brand colours and logos and also incorporate the latest in food presentation equipment. Four-coloured LED lighting creates colour balance designed to make food look most appealing. With its intuitive touch screen, allowing operators to update quickly between presentation modes, dish information and prices can be displayed.
