London-based Millers Catering Equipment has acquired fellow distributor Equipt to Cook, which is headquartered in East Molesey, Surrey.
The deal, which was finalised in December, reflects the ambition of both business’ directors to strengthen their customer offerings by bringing together the expertise and experience of both companies.
This is one of a number of recent acquisitions for Millers, which is aiming to become one of the leading providers of commercial catering equipment and service within the UK.
Both distributors believe their customers will benefit from the merger and believe it will result in an even wider selection of products, services and resources available.
All of the current Equipt to Cook directors, including MD Yvonne Martin, and its employees will remain in place, and the business will continue to trade from its existing premises for the foreseeable future.
