The Dorothy Kerin Trust, which was trading as The Burrswood Health and Wellbeing Centre near Tunbridge Wells, Kent, is auctioning off assets including catering equipment.
The Christian centre used to offer a range of therapies, spiritual healing retreats and 12 beds for rehabilitation and respite care, but closed its doors in June after going into administration.
On the instructions of joint administrators Mark Newman and Vincent Green of Crowe UK, the former 40-bed medical hospital has been forced to sell its appliances.
Lambert Smith Hampton is handling the auction, which is open until Thursday 5 December at 1pm. Viewing is available at the Burrswood centre on Saturday 30 November and Monday 2 December from 10am-4pm.
Among the lots are a Rational CD combi-dampfer combination oven, a Rational SCC combination oven, an Electrolux NHTBG dishwasher, a Falcon 900SX range cooker, Alcon pizza ovens, Mareno gas burner range ovens, a Hobart dough maker, Crypto Peerless mixers, commercial microwaves, refrigerated prep counters, blast chillers, fridges, freezers, hot water boilers and glass washers.
Winning bidders are required to collect the equipment between Monday 9 and Friday 13 December from 10am-4pm.
Lambert Smith and Hampton director Chris Buller told local publication Kent Online: “Burrswood provided a famous Christian care facility in West Kent and we are offering for a sale a wide variety of care items and equipment along with our associates The Swan Auctions who are holding a sale of the fine art and antiques. We anticipate considerable interest in the lots.”
