Commercial catering equipment supplier, rexmartins, has appointed former Lincat MD, Nick McDonald, to the position of commercial director.
In this new role, McDonald will be responsible for developing the product portfolio and extending the customer base.
Commenting on the appointment, rexmartins MD Martin Porter said: “I am pleased to welcome Nick to the company. With more than 20 years’ experience in the industry he has the skills and knowledge to deliver strong growth for the business.”
McDonald spent more than 20 years with Lincat until his departure last year. After joining as marketing and export manager in 1996, he was promoted to marketing and export director in 2000. During his final 4 years with the company, he served as MD, leading the company through a period of unprecedented growth.
McDonald said: “I am delighted to be joining rexmartins at an exciting period in the company’s development.
“Martin has put together an impressive portfolio of prime cooking equipment, including innovative induction hobs, griddles, fryers and pasta cookers as well as a number of other speciality products. I aim to add further to the product offering and to building sales across the entire range. I look forward to renewing contact with industry colleagues at the Commercial Kitchen Show in June.”
Tunbridge Wells-based rexmartins supplies the Kusina range of prime cooking equipment and Best For combination ovens as well as induction appliances, speciality grills and a front cooking extraction system. It will be exhibiting at Commercial Kitchen at the NEC between 5-6 June on stand number F27.
