Following on from the launch of Eversys’ new E’line range, Enigma, in September 2020, the Swiss-based manufacturer has introduced the Enigma ST (Super Traditional) model, which focuses on design aesthetics inspired from tradition, blended with automated technologies.
The Super Traditional version was created to appeal to discerning baristas seeking to leverage technology to enable them to be more consistent, creative and productive.
The back of the machine has a double-curved translucent panel that animates the volume of the machine, without looking too bulky. This is due to its quasi-floating connection to the side panels suspended by milled metal pins.
In the centre, an aluminium bar divides the volume, helping to reduce the visual height of the machine. Copper colour is used as an accent hue on the display frame, in order to keep a family feeling with other Eversys machines.
The new display screen is 27% larger at 10.1in with a higher quality resolution and wider viewing angle to make product selection simpler, combined with the opportunity to allow videos to run more clearly thanks to its updated Linux-based operating system.
Alexandre Rossier, head of design at Eversys said: “The Enigma ST stands as a high-tech aesthetical bridge between curvy traditional coffee machines and architectural automatic ones.”
While group commercial director Kamal Bengougam added: “This is an exciting time for Eversys as we have always aimed to reconcile technology with tradition. And, seeing the Enigma ST in the flesh is like witnessing the accomplishment of a vision that has been 10 years in the making.”
