European Watercare freezes prices

European Watercare believes its CTU10 now costs 57% less than the nearest equivalent leading brand of Ion Exchange filter.

Water filtration specialist European Watercare has announced it is holding its 2016 prices throughout this year for its own branded products.

The supplier says it has managed to do this as its products are designed and manufactured in the UK, giving it total control over costs for UK customers.

The Essex-based company stated: “This is a decision that has been made specifically with our customers in mind. We’re acutely aware of the impact the Brexit vote is having on the market place and the uncertainty this is bringing with it.

“This has led to some of our supplier partners increasing their prices by a minimum of 9%. These companies source outside the UK and have been impacted by fluctuations in exchange rates as well as a realignment of UK/Eurozone product pricing.

“This means that our already competitive pricing is now even more attractive.”

European Watercare believes it has calculated that in terms of pence per litre its CTU10 now costs 57% less than the nearest equivalent leading brand of Ion Exchange filter, and at standard distributor pricing is more than £225 cheaper to buy.

It emphasised that its CTUs are 100% recyclable, plus its iX WATER filters come complete with Refill Insert Technology that allows users to replace and return the media insert. In both cases this is designed to significantly reduces the amount of plastic used.

The firm also meets ISO 9000, 14001 and 18001 standards.
