Euro Catering plans first event in modified showroom

Euro Catering Equipment is preparing to christen its new London showroom by holding its first demo event for distributors and customers.

The Leicestershire-based importer is organising the live cooking sessions for May 4-8, with dealers invited to drop in anytime between 10am and 4m to see its equipment in action.

There will be a particular emphasis on the company’s range of solid fuel appliances, which now encompasses Pira charcoal ovens from Spain and Peva charcoal grills manufactured in Italy.

“The equipment can be used both outside and indoors, so with the forecast of a great summer it’s the perfect time to consider outdoor food offerings and capitalise on the popularity of al fresco dining and healthy eating,” said director Melanie Charlton.

Euro Catering got the keys to its new showroom on Wembley’s Great Central Way at the end of last year and has been modifying the facility to be able to carry out full working demonstrations.

Managing director, Tim Charlton, said last year that the move was an important development for the company.

“London is a key market for us and this showroom will allow us to show the trade and corporate accounts the product range we offer, and allow them to actually come and see the products in the flesh as well as allowing clients to discuss their particular requirements,” he commented.

Charlton said that dealers from outside of the London area that can’t make it to the new showroom could attend demos that it is putting on at its head office and warehouse in Lutterworth instead.

The focus will again be on the charcoal oven range, with the sessions kicking off the week commencing April 7.
