Tecnoinox’s Mosaico is said to offer a new approach to modular kitchen equipment and central kitchen islands.

Catering equipment specialist, Euro Catering, has brought the entire range of Italian cooking equipment manufacturer, Tecnoinox, into its portfolio.

The supplier is now offering exclusive distribution rights for Tecnoinox products to a limited number of dealers who are able to promote and support the brand throughout the UK.

Tecnoinox has been delivering equipment to commercial kitchens of all sizes for more than three decades. It offers five modular lines of cooking equipment, a complete range of complementary products including salamanders, and combi, compact snack, convection and pastry ovens.

The range is said to suit many end users’ needs, including small bars, pubs or foodservice operators, convenience stores, hotels and restaurants, pizza parlours, care homes, large banqueting operations or contract caterers.

All Tecnoinox equipment is said to boast high quality Italian workmanship, with German components and efficiency at its heart. Claimed attention to detail and fine design, as well as reliability and good customer service, are said to be the hallmarks of the brand.

Accreditations earned by Tecnoinox include ISO 14001:2004 environmental management system, BS OHSAS 18001:2007 occupational health and safety management system and quality management system certification UNI EN ISO 9001:2008. All equipment is HACCP-compliant.

The brand’s Mosaico range is said to offer a new approach to modular kitchen equipment and central kitchen islands. Depths of 60, 65, 70 and 90cm are available for the modular lines and a central island configuration can be created by combining a 45cm-deep unit with 115cm and 135cm-deep units.

Mosaico lines can include gas or electric, electric glass ceramic, or induction cook tops. These can be combined with bain-maries and work tops and all are manufactured in AISI 304 stainless gloss steel.  Drop-in equipment consists of pasta cookers, countertop fryers, bratt pans, sink units, chip scuttles and electric fryers.

Tecnoinox first entered the market with salamanders back in 1984 and a range of gas or electric models is available. All are made in the same satinised-finish stainless steel as the Mosaico lines and all have Incoloy heating elements.

Dealers taking up one of Euro Catering’s Tecnoinox supply contracts could benefit from having a nine combi oven range available to them. Units are fitted with automatic wash systems as standard and have touchscreen programmable controls, retractable hand shower, HACCP download and a USB port for recipe upload and software updates.

Euro Catering’s owner, Tim Charlton, said: “Having access to the full Tecnoinox range should be an exciting proposition for any dealer, especially as we are limiting the number of dealers with access to these products. Margins will not disappoint and the width and breadth of the range allows dealers to have a proposal for any customer, wherever they operate within the catering spectrum.

“Our key message for dealers is to act quickly, as once our dealer quota for this range is full, the opportunity will no longer exist. We believe dealers can earn a considerable income by handling Tecnoinox products and are delighted that we are able to create this great offering so soon after Chris Blunt has joined us as distributor sales manager.”

The product range can be viewed at Euro Catering’s new Culinary Centre, next to the main warehouse in Daventry.
