Euro Catering to launch culinary centre with distributor open days

Euro Catering’s Culinary Centre is divided into equipment zones.

Northamptonshire-based supplier Euro Catering is showcasing its range of European and American equipment brands in distributor open days it is staging in its new Culinary Centre.

The company is encouraging its dealers, kitchen design partners and other contacts to make a pit stop at the Daventry site on either Wednesday January 17 or Thursday January 18, to view and tour its facility.

The centre has been designed as an exhibition hall, within which equipment is arranged in themed zones, with different pieces of equipment grouped together, as they could be configured within a commercial kitchen.

There are zones for Giorik combi ovens, Debag bakery and convection ovens, hot holding equipment, cooking suites and pizza ovens plus preparation equipment, as well as areas featuring cost sector and educatering equipment.

The open days will see informal tours of the facility being given by the Euro Catering team, who will also detail how dealers can partner with the supplier, as well as demonstrations on various pieces of equipment by in-house food technologist, Darren Massey.

Visitors can arrive at any time between 12 noon and 7pm, stay as long as suits their schedule between these times and also take on the Euro Catering Scalextric Challenge.

The new Culinary Centre was created to bring Euro Catering’s showroom, demonstration kitchen and head office on to one site in Daventry. This involved relocating the demonstration kitchen from Lutterworth and adding to it, with new brands such as Debag, Tecnoinox and Beer being introduced into the portfolio. The facility is also complete with its own Italian terrace and vines.

Euro Catering’s owner, Tim Charlton, said: “We have made a big investment in our Culinary Centre and we believe this demonstrates our commitment to our dealers and design house partners. It also provides our new distributor sales manager, Chris Blunt, with a fabulous sales tool, which is also one that dealers can also use, to help clinch sales with their clients.

“We shall be delighted to formally launch the centre in mid-January and look forward to welcoming many trade contacts.”
