Supplier Grande Cuisine has rolled out the MyMareno app to the UK market.

The Italian manufacturer’s latest technological development includes a QR code reader which catering equipment engineers can use to instantly display part information while on a site visit.

By scanning the barcode from the control panel of any piece of Mareno equipment, engineers can view all related documents, from the instruction manual and wiring diagrams to forms for quotations and orders. It is even possible to order spare parts straight from a smartphone.

The app is available in both IOS and Android formats.

Grande Cuisine director Steve Hobbs said: “The new Mareno app is an essential tool for both technicians and caterers, and is perfect for when they are on the move or in the office.

“It gives you access to vital information, all at your fingertips, whether you are looking for new equipment, service details, spare parts, or just general information, and is the perfect complement to the brand’s comprehensive website.”

Mareno, which joined the Grande Cuisine portfolio last year, provides equipment ranging from refrigerators to cooking appliances.
