Electrolux has revealed that a recently-launched restaurant owned by Ryan Giggs and Gary Neville is cooking on its equipment.
The former Manchester United teammates opened Cafe Football in Westfield Stratford at the back end of last year after forming hospitality management company GG Hospitality.
And the pair have subsequently become a high profile client for Electrolux after a range of its catering equipment was installed at the venue.
Electrolux kit at Cafe Football includes an air-o-steam Touchline combi oven, a green&clean Hood Type dishwasher with Energy Saving Device, touch screen Ecostore refrigeration cabinets, a patented IcyHot power grill with refrigerated drawers and fryers with mechanised oil filtration.
Ben Rickard, London area sales manager at Electrolux Professional, said: “We’re pleased to be supporting such a prestigious and inventive culinary concept through supplying the essential kitchen components to GG Hospitality.
“The designers took account of some of the key energy saving components within Electrolux Professional products during the specification process, and the result is a high-performing kitchen with excellent levels of efficiency.”
The menu at the restaurant was created by two Michelin star chef Michael Wignall in collaboration with Cafe Football’s executive chef Brendan Fyldes.
