Electrolux Professional has relaunched its Libero Point cooking station with a series of improved features that it claims will save time and money for chefs.
The theatre-style cooking centrepiece is now available for the first time with refrigerated cabinets directly beneath the cooking zones.
The drawers reduce the need to replenish meat or fish from the kitchen before transferring to the unit’s optional induction, wok, griddle or infrared cook tops.
Simon Lilley, hot products category manager at Electrolux Professional, said: “Libero Point is ideal for theatre-style cooking where aesthetics and quality food need to be combined with a high level of visibility that allows customers to see their food as it is being made.
“It has already proved popular in all sectors — from busy hotels looking to add a theatre to their service, to business and industry where full kitchen space can be limited — and these improvements will save additional time and money in the kitchen.”
Electrolux says the revamped Libero Point has also been developed with ease-of-maintenance in mind.
Fabric filters have been replaced by metal mesh filters to make cleaning easier and maximise parts durability, while zeolite mineral filters which absorb the remaining smoke, steam and moisture have also been updated to ensure they can be put in the dishwasher.
