Electrolux Professional has launched a video training series to help professional kitchens maintain and clean food service equipment.
The videos are designed to ensure foodservice customers maximise the performance of their equipment and prevent potential breakdowns.
The video series includes demonstrations on the Electrolux Professional combination oven, compact line griddle, hood-type dishwasher and HSG panini grill.
Stuart Flint, training and business development manager at Electrolux Professional, who features in the video series, said the company wanted to put together a series of videos that would help customers understand how to really look after their equipment.
“Once you have invested in new kit there are a number of ways that you can help make sure it keeps running in pristine condition with cleaning and maintenance being key to this,” he said. “It might sound obvious but it doesn’t always happen, so we want to ensure professional kitchens can benefit from the full life-span of their equipment.”
Flint added: “We do, of course, offer customer training on all of our equipment but creating a video series means they can refresh their knowledge and train new staff regularly — not to mention that the videos will help to promote best practice across the foodservice community.”
