Electrolux Professional has refreshed its dishwasher range with the introduction of a hood type machine packed with new features.
The manufacturer claims the ‘green&clean’ dishwasher, which can wash up to 80 racks an hour, is one of the “safest” on the market from a hygiene point of view.
It has received ETL Sanitation approval and complies with NSF sanitation standards when used in ETL.S mode. In high productivity mode, the range complies with DIN 10512 standards.
Electrolux insists the dishwasher benefits from a number of innovations such as ESD, a highly efficient water pre-heating system that recovers steam to create a comfortable working environment and an automatic de-lime cycle for completely lime-free components.
Stuart Flint, training and business development manager at Electrolux Professional, said: “Water consumption, detergent use and rinsing temperatures are all factors in the overall operating cost of a dishwasher. This is a well-known truth in the industry and the reason why efficiency is such a significant purchasing decision factor when caterers come to choose their warewashing equipment.”
The hood type features Electrolux’s ‘Clear Blue’ filtering system, which keeps the wash water free from food residue and therefore improves the efficiency of the detergent.
The atmospheric boiler, sloped ceiling and inclined arms also ensure that a high rinsing quality is achieved regardless of water inlet conditions, according to the company.
Flint claimed: “With just two litres or cycles of fresh water needed for rinsing and with much smaller detergent and rinse aid quantities needed compared with other models on the market, our new hood type is a great investment for operators.”
