Easy temperature monitoring for smaller kitchens

Wireless sensors monitor inventory, detect incidents and send data via gateways to the NotifEye system in what is described as a "totally distributor friendly package they can install themselves without recourse to specialist engineers".

According to MCS Managing Director Steve Snow: “The NotifEye cloud-based temperature monitoring and notification system from Cooper-Atkins increases operating efficiencies and avoids potential food spoilage.

“It is a low-cost wireless solution that is self-installable and ready to use straight out of the box. Another advantage is that it comes complete with software licence meaning it is simply ‘plug-and-play’ making it ideal for distributors to provide for smaller restaurants.”

The system has a wireless range of 76-91 m (250-300 ft) and offers unlimited sensor data storage with data accessible from anywhere via the internet. The Ethernet Gateway is available in 868 or 900 MHz and includes four temperature sensors.

“NotifEye is self-installable and offers instant alerts for single user or multiple recipients with notifications via email and SMS text. It also allows permission-based access control and reporting and provides a list of recent alerts for individual sensors.”
