Holding unit manufacturer Duke Manufacturing will be launching a new product for the UK market at next week’s Commercial Kitchen show, which opens its doors on 23 September at London’s ExCeL.
The new ReadyFlex holding units can accommodate multiple pan configurations, with multiple heat zones per shelf and built-in connectivity. This allows the unit to seamlessly interact with third-party cloud and on-site solutions, all via Duke’s connected equipment platform (DCEP) and Bluetooth capabilities. This should allow for remote recipe management, suitable for multi-site operators. In the meantime, the touchscreen has been enhanced to become more intuitive.
The holding units have also been put forward for the Commercial Kitchen show’s Innovation Challenge, so all visitors will be able to experience the capabilities of the unit first hand before casting their votes.
The new product launch coincides with a period of sustained growth for the American-based manufacturer, including its partnership with Victor Manufacturing and Commercial Catering Products (CCP) who will be on hand throughout the duration of the show to answer any questions.
Victor acts as a supplier in the UK and aims to provide seamless purchase experience for Duke products with no friction importing from the US or EU. Additionally, CCP partners with major operators in the industry as Duke’s sales representation alongside Victor.
Duke’s vice president Paul Stephens commented: “We’re delighted to launch the ReadyFlex hot holding unit at such a prestigious industry event. We have been looking forward to this event since it was announced. The excitement of being able to meet face-to-face with existing and potential customers is coupled with the knowledge that our new units will enhance our clients’ working experiences and in doing so, further strengthen our global reputation as the market leader in holding units.”
Duke Manufacturing will share stand B21 with combi oven manufacturer Retigo.
